Interview with Edna
Hear first-hand from working mother Edna who is struggling to feed her family and keep her children safe while her hard-won laundry washing business collapses from COVID.
"I'm scared all the time. For my children. I'm scared we won't have enough food for them..."
Project partners JeCCDO sent out a team of case workers to the impoverished neighbourhoods of Debre Berhan. Case worker, Abena, met with Edna to learn how she was affected and where best we needed to direct our emergency aid.
